Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Space & Defense team in Blacksburg, VA. The role focuses on supporting a slip ring production line and coordinating with outsource vendors, while developing and documenting manufacturing processes for a global team.

You will work under the Industrial and Technical Engineer Manager, reporting on site in Blacksburg, and require an associate degree with strong electrical/mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or STEM field is required.
• 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing role is preferred.
• Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, and other disciplines across the business.

Responsibilities

• Support the slip ring production line and outsource vendors.
• Lead manufacturing process development and documentation with domestic and international teams.
• Create, contribute, and approve engineering and tool drawings, work instructions, and labor standards.
