Job summary

Moog Space & Defense Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the 2nd shift, onsite in Blacksburg, VA. You will report to the Value Stream Manager and support production lines, tooling, and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related manufacturing experience, strong communication, leadership, and willingness to travel within the United States. Knowledge of lean and Six Sigma is preferred. ITAR/compliance awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering OR equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and coworkers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team-based environment.
• Willingness to travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support production lines, outside vendors, suppliers and contractors.
• Oversee manufacturing process development with domestic and international teams.
• Review drawings and support tooling, work instructions, and labor standards.
• Prepare and present performance reports to leadership.
