Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks a Software Engineer, Data Systems in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA. You will architect, develop, and test data systems for large data and video workloads, aligned with Rocky program schedules. Lead UI design, translate requirements, and guide reviews across teams and stakeholders.

Role involves collaboration with government and commercial customers, and requires active U.S. Top Secret clearance. Onsite work and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 3+ years with large DBMS, SQL, and data design.
• CS fundamentals and OO design knowledge.
• ETL concepts (SSIS) and backup/recovery basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of software UI components.
• Translate requirements into models meeting customer needs.
• Oversee software system analyses to identify risk and opportunities.
• Guide code reviews to ensure alignment with standards.
• Review product and process for project alignment.
• Research and apply current software technologies and tools.
