Space Data Manager

Workplace Planning Team

JLL helps global corporate clients optimize their workplace spaces through innovative technology and data solutions. Effective management of these specialized systems is crucial for enabling clients to achieve their strategic workplace ambitions.

The Space Data Manager will support the Workplace Planning Team by maintaining accurate space data across client portfolios. They will ensure CAFM/IWMS systems (Serraview) reflect current space configurations, business unit allocations, and employee assignments to enable strategic workplace optimization.

What this job involves:

Passionate about data

What value do you place on accurate data? We're as passionate about it as you! You'll manage and maintain CAFM/IWMS database applications including space attributes, floorplans, space types, and seating layouts. You'll ensure physical changes (walls, room reconfigurations) are accurately reflected in systems and coordinate with the CAD team to maintain alignment between drawings and system layouts. You'll apply office space categorization principles (BOMA, OSCRE) to client portfolio data while maintaining accurate BU ownership and allocation across all usable spaces.

Accurate reporting

Accurate reporting is essential to our client advisory success. In this role, you'll create standard reports featuring key metrics on supply/demand, vacancy, density, utilization, and costs. You'll deliver reports across multiple timeframes (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and geographical levels (building, state, country, regional). Your responsibilities include conducting monthly floorplan reviews with Facility Managers and site leaders, performing comprehensive data and drawing audits, and maintaining compliance with client data governance programs and SLAs. These reporting capabilities will directly support data-driven decision making for our clients.

Facilitating the data story

The job will demand high-level collaboration as you’ll act as the primary point of contact for floorplan and space data requests. You'll liaise with Occupancy Planners to collect and process data updates, train client end-users on CAFM/IWMS systems, and collaborate with internal teams including CAD services, project management, MAC (Move, Add, Change), and facilities management. You'll review data errors and coordinate remediation with appropriate teams while validating space and occupancy data for reporting and benchmarking.

Sounds like you? To apply, you need to have:

Background in real estate data management

A bachelor’s degree in architecture, Space Planning, Data Management, Data Analytics, or Occupancy Planning will be necessary. You'll need 5+ years' experience managing data, preferably in occupancy or space planning for corporate clients, and experience with CAFM/IWMS tools (Serraview, Archibus, TRIRIGA, etc.). Background in corporate real estate, facilities, or workplace planning preferred.

Digitally astute

Our data is managed across multiple technology platforms. You'll need advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, experience with CAD, ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction documents, and an understanding of end-to-end data management lifecycles.

Tech-enabled leader

The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills across cultures and time zones. Being fluent in English is required, with Spanish a plus for broader LATAM support.

Dynamic personality

Are you a self-motivated professional, who can work independently? Can you also work with a team, build relationships and interact effectively with business partners?
