Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer and technical leader to address complex integration challenges for space control missions. The Space Control Systems Integration Lead will perform Systems of Systems Engineering (SoSE) to identify and articulate integration risks, issues, and gaps for space control mission threads.

Operating with SSC, you’ll integrate space domain awareness, operational intelligence, and counter-space operations across NSS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in National Security Space systems engineering.
• Multidisciplinary systems engineering experience for space systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to briefing diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~10% and ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of space warfare by solving integration challenges.
• Perform SoSE to identify integration risks, issues, and gaps.
• Apply analytical SoSE methodologies to uncover integration challenges.
• Work across program, mission, and stakeholder boundaries to champion enterprise perspectives.
• Develop technical guidance to augment technical products and assessments.
• Influence programs to drive closure of identified RIGs through credible communication.
• Collaborate with government, Aerospace, other FFRDC and contractor teams.
