Blue Origin is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee fabrication and assembly of aerospace components on Space Coast operations in Florida. You will lead manufacturing teams, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to meet production plans and safety standards.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and scaling up production for new products while maintaining quality and efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing a team within manufacturing or aerospace.
• 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor within manufacturing or aerospace.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules.
• Mentor manufacturing teams, providing guidance and fostering teamwork and openness.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to address manufacturing challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor production performance and report to senior management with sound judgment and business impact awareness.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and company standards compliance; take initiative with urgency.
• Manage budget and resource allocation for manufacturing activities.
• Support new product introductions and scale up production capabilities.
• Evaluate inputs to make informed decisions focused on quality and efficiency.
