Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to support industrialization of new products across areas like avionics, harnessing, GNC, and thermal systems at Space Coast, FL. Relocation is available and second shifts may be required.

You will translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop manufacturing documentation to ensure quality and safety standards for spaceflight hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering role.
• 1+ years of experience creating English work instructions.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialization of new products in areas such as solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, harnessing, GNC, thermal systems, and structures.
• Translate engineering requirements into manufacturing processes supporting Blue Origin's mission.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate space vehicle production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, flow diagrams, tool designs, inspection plans).
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methods (composites, precision machining, additive manufacturing, orbital welding, advanced assembly).
