Job summary
Peraton is seeking a Cloud Engineer – Space Programs to design, automate, and operate mission-critical cloud infrastructure for the EMMETT SDA I&W system. You will enable secure, scalable delivery to Agile teams across classified environments using cloud platforms, IaC, containers, and CI/CD.
The ideal candidate has hands-on automation experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a security-first mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
- TS clearance with SCI eligibility and poly required.
- 4+ years in cloud engineering, automation or orchestration.
- IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC).
- Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), IaC and automation tools.
- Containerization/orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or Rancher.
- Experience developing or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate cloud infrastructure and containerized services.
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for large-scale deployments.
- Harden systems with DevSecOps practices and PKI/certificates.
- Monitor reliability and observability across cloud services and on-prem environments.
- Develop engineering artifacts and configuration management aligned to IMS.
