Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Space-based phenomenology Lead (Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer – Systems Engineering) to lead technical evaluations of sensor capabilities for national security architectures. You will collaborate with government customers and commercial partners, directing teams and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have strong experience in space-based sensing phenomenologies, modeling, and integration considerations, with a TS/SBI/SCI clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or science field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant technical experience.
• Technical understanding of space-based architectures.
• Working knowledge of space-based sensor phenomenologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical evaluations of commercial space-based sensor capabilities for integration into national security architectures.
• Communicate programmatic and technical issues with independent recommendations.
