Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems (SES) division is seeking entry to senior Test Technicians to support bring-up, functional testing, and validation of embedded avionics systems. You will work with design engineers to ensure hardware performs as expected across prototypes to flight-ready systems.

Ideal candidates have hands-on testing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to document issues clearly.

Qualifications

• 0–6+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, electronic loads, etc.).
• Proficiency with hand tools including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and tweezers.
• Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd Shift (1st: 7am–3:30pm; 2nd: 3pm–11:30pm).
• Clear and concise communication skills in a cross-functional team.
• Basic understanding of electronics fundamentals and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform test, verification, and validation of avionics hardware, including custom PCBAs and embedded systems.
• Support initial hardware bring-up, firmware loading, and debugging.
• Execute test plans and procedures based on system and interface requirements.
• Use lab tools, especially oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, to troubleshoot and validate signals.
• Gather, organize, and report test data with design engineers to ensure performance and reliability.
• Assist with NCR generation alongside hardware and software teams.
• Contribute to and participate in expansion of production flow.
• Gather and set up test equipment suite as defined by product or engineering requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
