Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Spacecraft Test Specialist (Avionics) to support the integration and testing of spacecraft avionics systems at the vehicle integration level.

You will plan and execute functional, environmental, and system-level tests to ensure flight hardware meets performance and mission requirements, working with avionics, software, automation, and integration teams through development to launch readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of avionics or spacecraft testing experience.
• Hands-on with high-reliability avionics hardware and EGSE.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and ICDs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document avionics test procedures.
• Perform functional and system-level testing of hardware.
• Support integration of avionics components and cables.
• Operate and troubleshoot EGSE, oscilloscopes, DMMs.
• Maintain test racks and measurement equipment.
• Generate test and discrepancy reports.
• Support environmental testing as required.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety processes.
