Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems division seeks entry to senior Test Technicians to support bring-up, validation, and testing of embedded avionics systems. You will collaborate with design engineers to ensure hardware performs as expected across prototypes and flight-ready levels.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware testing, documentation, and ensuring reliability with lab tools and structured processes in a DoD/IC orientation.

Qualifications

• 0-6+ years of related experience
• Proficiency with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, electronic loads)
• Proficiency with hand tools (screwdrivers, torque wrenches, tweezers)
• Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd Shift (7am-3:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm)
• Strong cross-functional communication
• Basic electronics fundamentals and debugging techniques
• Detail-oriented with thorough documentation and execution
• Experience in an engineering organization with structured processes

Responsibilities

• Perform test, verification, and validation of avionics hardware and embedded systems
• Support hardware bring-up, firmware loading, and debugging
• Execute test plans and procedures based on requirements
• Use lab tools to troubleshoot and validate signals
• Gather and report test data with design engineers
• Assist with NCR generation and production flow expansion
• Set up test equipment suites as defined by requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
