Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking an Avionics Associate Engineer for the Winter 2027 program in Northern California. You will join the avionics team to build and test flight hardware, design test equipment, and bring up designs in the lab.

You will write code to evaluate performance, automate tests, and assist with low-level software interfacing with spacecraft subsystems, gaining hands-on aerospace experience while pursuing your graduate degree after the program.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent).
• Interest in spacecraft systems and subsystems.
• Hands-on hardware development in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Python and/or C++.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the avionics engineering team to build and test flight hardware.
• Design test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
• Bring up and debug designs in the lab.
• Write code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
• Assist with low level software to interface with spacecraft subsystems.
