Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking an Assembly Integration and Test Engineer for the Space Manufacturing team to lead system integration and test campaigns of flight hardware.

You will develop test plans, perform hands‑on testing, and collaborate across supply chain, hardware, and program management to ensure space‑grade quality and reliability in a fast‑paced, high‑reliability environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aerospace or other high‑reliability industries.
• 2+ years hands‑on integration and test of flight hardware.
• Cross‑disciplinary understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T and electrical schematics.
• 3+ years in unit‑level or system integration, with vibration, thermal vacuum, acoustic, shock, or EMI/EMC.
• Hands‑on EO/IR or sensor payload experience (one or more).
• 3+ years using test equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies).
• 2+ years working with MES/ERP/MRP systems as a production record.
• 2+ years applying manufacturing process controls and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration and test campaigns with plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Lead TRRs for flight hardware and coordinate resources.
• Participate in MRRS (MRR) for flight hardware.
• Develop and improve processes for the assembly and integration of PCBAs and space vehicles.
• Perform hands‑on hardware and software testing at unit and system levels.
• Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions for anomalies.
• Specify, procure, and maintain assembly tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with supply chain, hardware, program management, and test teams to manage priorities.
