Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team seeks an Acquisition Management Engineer to support acquisition, governance, and space protection programs. The role involves COTR support, cost and schedule management, and coordination with contractors to deliver space ground systems.

The successful candidate will have TS/SCI clearance, 14+ years in government acquisition, and DoD/IC procurement experience. On-site role with challenging, impactful projects for national security.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field.
• 14+ years supporting a Government acquisition program office.
• Direct support to program COTR required.
• DoD/IC acquisition, procurement, or contracting processes knowledge.
• Experience managing technical, cost, and schedule performance in acquisitions over $50M.
• Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition engineering and program management/COTR tasks for new starts and changes to program baselines.
• Provide acquisition strategy, planning, and systems engineering for space ground processing software.
• Lead creation of POE models and work with stakeholders on ACPs and ICEs.
• Assist in RFIs/RFPs, SOWs, ECPs, and contract document evaluation.
• Monitor third-party cost performance and advise Government customers.
• Support GEAC synchronization with the agency’s financial tracking tool.
• Serve as SME and SPO representative coordinating with contractors and end users.
• Support planning and execution of new acquisitions and MSA reviews; provide business analysis.
