Job summary

Avalon Transportation LLC in Orange County seeks a motor coach bus driver for full-time and/or part-time roles.

You will transport passengers on OC routes, including schools, events, and airports, with emphasis on safety and customer service. Training and DOT/CHP compliance are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement and SPAB certificate.
• 2+ years verifiable CDL bus/motorcoach experience.
• Clean DMV record with no major violations in 3 years.
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs, navigate stairs, and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers on assigned OC routes, including schools, events, airports.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues to maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service; assist with luggage up to 50 lbs; ensure safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers on assigned OC routes, including schools, events, airports, and key spots—ensuring timely pickups and smooth drop-offs
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues to maintenance ASAP
• Deliver exceptional customer service: Assist with luggage (up to 50 lbs.), maintain clean attire, and prioritize safety for all—passengers, vehicles, peds, and bikes.
• Follow traffic laws, company protocols, and DOT/CHP standards; log trips accurately and adapt to flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

What You Bring

• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement and required SPAB certificate (must-have—no training needed)
• 2+ years verifiable CDL bus/motorcoach experience
• Clean DMV (no major violations in 3 years), plus passing background check, drug screen, DOT physical, and MVR
• Physical ability: Lift/move 50 lbs., navigate stairs, sit for extended periods, and work outdoors
