Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is seeking an on-call massage therapist for its luxury spa. The role requires knowledge of various treatment protocols and a current massage license where applicable, with a strong emphasis on delivering peace and relaxation to guests.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years in a luxury spa setting, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, and must be fluent in English. The position is part-time or on-call, with a standard expectation of professional hospitality and

• 1–2 years' experience in a luxury spa environment or equivalent
• Massage license is current asperstatelaw
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• This position is physical by nature and requires meeting all essential functions
• Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required

Responsabilités

• Set up and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas
• Handle all guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests and resolve inquiries
• Assist guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa services
• Ensure adequate guest supplies and amenities within treatment room and lounges, with immaculate presentation
• Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room
• Utilize reservations systems and guest experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction
• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage/body treatment sequences of service
• Prepare, operate, and sanitize all equipment in treatment rooms and Spa areas
• Ensure daily and opening/closing checklists are completed and areas are stocked and maintained
• Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is looking for an on-call massage therapist. As an integral member of the Spa, the Massage Therapist position performs body treatments according to established Four Seasons protocols. The Massage Therapist also complies with Four Seasons core and culture standards. This position ensures all guests experience pure peace and relaxation.
We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of various treatment protocols and all candidates must have a current qualification and massage license, where applicable. This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position. Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required. All candidates will have a warm and welcome smile and a positive attitude.

What you will do

• Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshmentsinpre-treatmentand treatment areas.




• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality andprofessionalism;accommodatespecialrequests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection withSpaservices.




• Assist gueststotheir appointments as they relate to Spaservices.




• Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies andamenitieswithinthetreatmentroomandloungesand ensure immaculate presentation of these items.




• Ensure treatmentroomsarefullystocked with linen andsupplies at all times.

• Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room.




• Appropriatelyutilizereservationsystems,maintenancerecords,and Guest Experience databaseas vehicles of communication to ensureguestsatisfactionwith all servicesprovided.




• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage andbody treatment sequencesof service.




• Properlyprepare,operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment inthetreatmentroomsandSpa areas.




• Ensure compliance ofdaily andopening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of allequipment.

• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
