Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Boston is seeking a Part Time Spa Therapist to provide relaxing massages, body treatments and facials to guests at the Spa, upholding Four Seasons standards.

The ideal candidate holds a MA Massage Therapy license, a High School Diploma, and has 2 years of spa or hospitality experience; visa sponsorship is not available. This on-site role is based at One Dalton Street in Boston.

Qualifications

• License required by MA Board of Cosmetology.
• At least 2 years of experience in a spa/hotel setting.
• Experience in high-volume spa/health club operations preferred within hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Follow Four Seasons standards for service sequences.
• Operate Book4Time or similar software.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms after each service.
• Maintain a neat, quiet work area during shifts.
• Be knowledgeable about spa and fitness offerings to assist guests.
• Perform all assigned treatments per shift.

The Opportunity

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is currently looking for Part Time Spa Therapist!

Basic Purpose:

Provide relaxing and thorough massages, body treatments and facials to guests of the Spa that uphold the standards of the Four Seasons Hotel. Complies with any other additional requests that may arise pertaining to Massage Therapist duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Follow all standards set in place by Four Seasons for sequence of service, etc.
• Able to utilize Book4Time and/or any computerized applications.
• Clean and properly flip the treatment room after each service.
• Maintain a neat and quiet work area at all times.
• Maintain a well‑stocked treatment room at the end of each shift.
• Have knowledge of each area of the Spa and Fitness Center and provide information to guests about services offered in the Spa as well as the Hotel.
• Perform all treatments assigned to your shift.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• High School Degree
• Possess a current Massage Therapy license from the MA Board of Cosmetology
• 2 years of experience in similar setting
• Retail sales experience preferred High volume spa/health club operation, preferably within hospitality/hotel environment
