Spa Specialist
Purpose: The Spa Specialist is responsible for providing routine daily care to all assigned community members. They assist community members with personal hygiene as well as participate in the daily care of the community members. They are responsible for ensuring community members receive personal hygiene care assistance according to schedule.
Working Conditions
Full Time. Monday - Friday (Days May Vary). Ability to work in an assisted living environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with community member care: Provide compassionate support with activities of daily living and basic personal care needs.
- Provide bath or shower assistance for community member care.
- Assist community members with dressing and grooming care.
- Communicate any community member skin issues to Health and Wellness Officer/Director or Coordinator.
- Shampoo hair and trim facial hair on community members if needed.
- Assist community members with general care: Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude towards the community members and co-workers; visit with community members; communicate community member issues to Health and Wellness Officer/Director or Coordinator.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Observe the policies and procedures of Vista Springs at all times.
- Attend all required in-service education and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Job Duties or Responsibilities
- Occasional errands.
- Assisting community members as needed.
- Ability to assist and supervise during an emergency.

Skills & Abilities
Education and Experience: High school Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), no prior experience necessary.
Computer Skills: Must have basic knowledge of operating a computer and familiarity with Word, Excel and Outlook in a windows environment.
Certificates & Licenses: First aid and CPR training.
Other Requirements: On the job training.
