The Peninsula New York Spa is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and passionate Spa Receptionist to join our team, assisting in driving revenue and delivering personalized luxury service.

Key Accountabilities

• Providing world-class and personalized service to all guests by offering a warm and friendly welcome.
• Upselling and scheduling appointments to ensure the spa is fully booked, maximizing treatment room and therapist productivity.
• Checking in and out all spa guests, handling payments for treatments and retail items.
• Placing food and beverage orders for spa and hotel guests.
• Escorting guests to locker facilities, lounge, relaxation rooms, sun terrace, fitness center, and pool.
• Maintaining the customer journey and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Conducting regular walk-throughs to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Completing opening and closing duties professionally and accurately.
• Reconciliation of funds at the end of each shift, reporting discrepancies to the manager.
• Keeping the reception area clean and organized.

General Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in luxury hotel or spa front-of-house roles.
• Proficient with computer booking systems.
• Excellent telephone skills, especially for bookings.
• Experience working in a team on rotating shifts.
• Positive attitude and client care passion.
• Interest in treatments and holistic lifestyles.
