Job summary

Coffee N Nails is seeking a friendly receptionist to warmly greet guests, check in appointments, and manage walk-ins at our Wisconsin salon. You will assist clients with service options and beverages, and coordinate with the manager to assign technicians, ensuring a smooth front-desk flow.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Basic POS skills and customer-service experience are preferred for this full-time/part-time role.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Previous receptionist, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and a warm welcome.
• Check customers in and confirm appointments or walk-in services.
• Help customers choose between regular polish, gel polish, or acrylic (powder) services.
• Show customers available nail colors and service options.
• Communicate with the manager to assign the appropriate nail technician.
• Escort customers to their pedicure chair or manicure table.
• Offer beverages and prepare coffee or other drinks.
• Check on customers throughout their visit and refill drinks as needed.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.
• Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Confirm services before checkout and assign the correct nail technician(s) to each ticket.
• Explain that gratuity is optional and assist customers with payment.
• Encourage satisfied customers to leave a Google review.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure every guest has a positive experience.
