Job summary

Monarch Black Hawk, Inc. is hiring a part-time Spa Massage Therapist to perform various treatments like Swedish and Deep Tissue massages. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience and be licensed by the Colorado State Board of Massage Therapists.

Job Title: Spa Massage Therapist
Salary: $60 - $70/hr (average between base pay, commission, gratuities)
Status: Part Time
Shift: Days, Swings
Other Compensation: Hourly rate + tips + 25% service commission + 10% sales commission on any product sold.

Responsibilities

• Perform Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal Massage, Body Wraps, and other specialized treatments unique to Spa Monarch.
• Adhere to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring the time schedule.
• Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompany them to and from treatment rooms, and thank them sincerely on departure.
• Engage and converse with clients during sessions on topics related to their interests.
• Maintain product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
• Care for linens and replace them between sessions.
• Cease treatment and inform the supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behavior.
• Maintain organization of all treatment areas.
