Job summary

Garden of the Gods Resort and Club is seeking a Massage Therapist to deliver massage and body treatments, greet guests, and uphold premier spa standards. You will follow established protocols, help maintain clean facilities, and guide clients with aftercare instructions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, consistent client communication, and high-quality service across all spa departments in a resort setting located at Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in resort, club, or day spa experience.
• High School graduate.
• Current State of Colorado Massage License.

Responsibilities

• Provide services associated with Massage and Body Treatments.
• Greet and welcome members and guests to the Spa/Salon.
• Communicate clearly with members, guests and spa staff to achieve desired results.
• Performs all support tasks associated with providing services assigned (set-ups and break down of treatment rooms, stocking and inventory of supplies, stocking and removal of linen, etc.)
• Performing Massage and Body treatments, including specialty service developed by the Spa.
• Performs all assigned/scheduled services and tasks using provided protocols and timeliness.
• Providing after care guidelines to clients.
• Assist in the overall smooth operation of the Spa by maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the workplace, and effective communication amongst coworkers.
• Creating a database of frequent clients.
• Assist members and guests with questions regarding the Spa and the Club.
• Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
• Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Position Purpose & Summary

Massage Therapists administer professional massage, body treatments, and additional spa service recommendations to assist in the development growth of spa engagement and revenue sales.

Essential Functions:

• Provide services associated with Massage and Body Treatments.
• Greet and welcome members and guests to the Spa/Salon.
• Communicate clearly with members, guests and spa staff to achieve desired results.

Position Requirements:

1. Minimum Knowledge & Skills: 2 years' experience in resort, club, or day spa experience
2. Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: High School graduate
3. License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Current State of Colorado Massage License

• Daily – Communicate with Spa Concierge and Spa Management daily
• Weekly – Spa Management
• Occasionally – Participate in one-on-one coaching sessions.
