Job summary

Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara in Carlsbad, CA seeks a part-time Spa Massage Therapist to deliver personalized wellness experiences in a luxury spa setting. You will blend expert technique with genuine care, offering treatments and products while upholding Four Seasons service standards.

Responsibilities include client-centered massage, maintaining pristine treatment rooms, and collaborating with Residence Club staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• CMTC certification required.
• Licensed massage therapist credential.
• Holistic Health Practitioner preferred, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Follow payroll procedures.
• Use the log book and schedule chart.
• Keep work area neat, clean and quiet at all times.
• Explain Spa and Residence Club services to owners and guests.
• Recommend retail products accurately.
• Perform a range of massage modalities including wraps and scrubs.
• Perform treatments as directed by the Front Office Manager.
• Respond appropriately in Residence Club emergencies or safety situations.
• Support management and staff with additional tasks as assigned.

About the Role:

At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, our Spa Massage Therapists create personalized wellness experiences that help owners and guests relax, recharge, and feel their best. This role combines expert technical skills with genuine care and attention to detail, delivering exceptional treatments in a luxury spa environment while upholding the world-class service standards of Four Seasons.

What You Will Do:

• - Follow proper payroll procedures.
• - Utilize the log book and schedule chart.
• - Keep work area neat, clean and quiet at all times.
• - Utilize treatment rooms and provide information to owners and guests about the services offered in the Spa as well as the Residence Club.
• - Recommend each of the retail products accurately.
• - Provide a variety of modalities in professional massage for any client including, but not limited to, wraps, scrubs, and specialty treatments.
• - Perform spa treatments with such products, ingredients, and quantities as outlined by Front Office Manager.
• - Respond properly in any Residence Club emergency or safety situation.
• - Perform others tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management, spa management, and staff.

What you Bring:

• - Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• - California Massage Therapy Council (CMTC) certification
• - Licensed massage therapist
• - Holistic Health Practitioner preferred, however, not a primary requirement

We Offer:

• - Hourly Rate: $17.60 plus commissions and gratuities

• - Early mornings, days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
