Mirbeau Rhinebeck is seeking a polished Host Person to welcome guests and manage reservations within our Forbes-rated front-of-house team. You will greet guests, escort to tables, present menus, and provide menu knowledge to ensure seamless dining room operations with a calm, spa-inspired atmosphere.

We value hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to connect with guests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required to create memorable first impressions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in host/hostess or front-of-house preferred.
• Experience in fine dining or spa environments strongly desired.
• Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally using approved language standards.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and provide a brief overview.
• Offer basic menu knowledge and make recommendations when requested.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Respond to guest complaints or concerns promptly and graciously, or escalate to management.
• Thank guests upon departure and extend a sincere farewell.
