TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a spa cosmetologist to provide manicure, pedicure, makeup and hair services to spa guests on a commissioned basis. The role emphasizes following spa protocols, sanitation standards and guest service excellence within a hotel spa environment.
Responsibilities include scheduling treatments, maintaining clean treatment areas, educating guests on products, and collaborating with the Spa team. A NH Cosmetology license and spa experience are preferred.
This is a commissioned based position.
The spa cosmetologist is responsible for providing various services to clients as stated in the spa menu in accordance to the protocols for individual treatments. Also responsible for ensuring the treatment and service areas are kept clean and up to universal spa industry sanitation standards.
Complies with all guest service basics, such as uniforms, name tags, and proper guest greetings. Knowledgeable about hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate. Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand, and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices, and regulations. Strive to exceed guest expectations with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.
Education and Experience: Must hold a current NH Cosmetology license. A minimum of 1 year experience in the medical, salon or spa industry is preferred. Current CPR certification is preferred. High school education or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of guest services and retail inventory. Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination Must meet the physical requirements of being able to perform cosmetic services, including but not limited to standing, bending and fluid use of arms and hands utilized to perform necessary nail, make-up, waxing and hair services. Work is normally performed in an interior hotel environment. While performing job duties, the associate speaks, listens, completes documents, processes requests, and operates office equipment such as a telephone, calculator, computer, copier, and fax.
The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.
