General Manager | Precision Wellness

Lead People. Elevate Experiences. Build Something Better.

We're Not Your Typical Spa. We're Not Looking for a Typical Manager.

The wellness industry has no shortage of trends, expensive treatments, and promises of life-changing results. What it needs more of is integrity, expertise, and businesses genuinely committed to helping people feel better.

That's why Precision Wellness exists.

We're a premium wellness destination bringing together therapeutic massage, skincare, yoga, and advanced non-invasive wellness technologies. Our approach is built around personalized care, education, measurable progress, and long-term relationships—not high-pressure sales tactics or one‑size‑fits‑all solutions.

We believe that when you invest in your people, deliver exceptional value, and consistently do what's right for your clients, growth follows.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of wellness professionals and support staff.
  • Build a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear expectations, provide meaningful feedback, and help employees take ownership of their performance.
  • Identify individual strengths, develop emerging leaders, and create opportunities for professional growth.
  • Address performance challenges directly, fairly, and constructively.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to jump in when needed.

Business Performance & Growth

  • Take ownership of operational KPIs, revenue performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Monitor booking trends, service utilization, labor efficiency, client retention, and membership performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through better client experiences, stronger retention, thoughtful service recommendations, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with ownership and marketing to improve lead conversion, client acquisition, and referral generation.
  • Use data to identify problems, develop solutions, and measure results.
  • Balance short‑term business objectives with long‑term client trust and brand reputation.

Exceptional Client Experience

  • Deliver a consistently elevated, welcoming, and personalized experience from first contact through post‑service follow‑up.
  • Ensure every client feels heard, respected, informed, and genuinely cared for.
  • Develop systems that improve communication, education, follow‑up, rebooking, and long‑term engagement.
  • Resolve client concerns with empathy, sound judgment, and a commitment to making things right.
  • Coach staff to recommend services based on client needs and goals—not sales pressure.
  • Build lasting relationships that naturally drive positive reviews, loyalty, and referrals.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations, staffing, scheduling, service delivery, and facility standards.
  • Optimize practitioner schedules and treatment‑room capacity while protecting service quality and employee well‑being.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, presentation, inventory, and equipment readiness.
  • Ensure employees follow applicable professional standards, safety protocols, and scope‑of‑practice requirements.
  • Leverage technology, automation, and management systems to reduce administrative friction and improve efficiency.
  • Anticipate challenges, prioritize effectively, and solve problems before they become recurring issues.
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Proven management or leadership experience in a spa, wellness center, hospitality business, or comparable service‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and build a positive workplace culture.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort working with revenue, labor, budgets, operational metrics, and performance goals.
  • Excellent communication, organization, conflict‑resolution, and decision‑making skills.
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Confidence using scheduling software, point‑of‑sale systems, spreadsheets, and business reporting tools.
  • A genuine commitment to hospitality, personal development, and exceptional client care.

Highly Valued Experience

  • Managing multiple service categories, departments, or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Growing membership‑based or recurring‑revenue businesses.
  • Improving employee retention, service utilization, and client lifetime value.
  • Creating training programs, operating procedures, and performance management systems.
  • Familiarity with Momence, Mindbody, CRM platforms, or similar technology.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and leading organizational change.

You don't need to be a massage therapist, esthetician, or yoga instructor. You do need to respect professional expertise, understand how to support practitioners, and know how to lead people who have specialized skills.

The Kind of Leader Who Will Thrive Here

You're someone who:

  • Takes ownership. You don't wait to be told what needs improvement. You identify opportunities and take action.
  • Develops people. You understand that great leadership isn't about having all the answers; it's about helping others perform at their best.
  • Thinks commercially. You understand that exceptional service must also support a financially healthy business.
  • Challenges the status quo. "That's how we've always done it" isn't a compelling reason to keep doing something.
  • Leads with integrity. You can grow revenue without sacrificing trust or putting unnecessary pressure on clients.
  • Embraces accountability. You're comfortable measuring results, learning from setbacks, and having difficult conversations.
  • Sees the bigger picture. You can move between strategic priorities and day‑to‑day details without losing sight of either.

Above all, you're motivated by the opportunity to build something meaningful—not just manage something that already exists.

How We'll Define Success

We believe strong leadership should produce measurable improvements, not simply keep everyone busy.

You'll be successful when:

  • Employees are engaged, supported, accountable, and growing professionally.
  • Clients consistently receive outstanding care and choose to return.
  • Booking utilization, retention, referrals, and membership performance improve.
  • Operations become more efficient, consistent, and scalable.
  • Revenue and profitability grow without compromising our standards.
  • The business operates with greater clarity, consistency, and less dependence on ownership for everyday decisions.

Our culture is grounded in four principles: Consistency, Compassion, Competence, and Community.

We expect our General Manager to bring those principles to life every day.

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation with performance‑based growth opportunities.
  • The opportunity to work directly with ownership and influence business strategy.
  • Meaningful autonomy and opportunities for professional development.
  • A collaborative environment that values fresh ideas, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • The chance to lead a team dedicated to improving people's well‑being.
  • An organization that values doing the right thing just as much as achieving results.
Ready to Build Something Better?

If you're looking for a job where you follow a checklist, maintain the status quo, and collect a paycheck, this probably isn't the right fit.

But if you're energized by developing people, solving challenging problems, creating unforgettable experiences, and taking real ownership of business results, we'd love to meet you.
