Job summary

Soho House is seeking an experienced Cowshed Esthetician in Chicago to deliver high-quality facial, waxing and body services to our members and guests. You must uphold spa protocols, assess skin conditions, and provide tailored treatment recommendations.

Ideal candidates have 1-3+ years in a similar role, a valid Illinois license, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Valid Illinois State License.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety measures.
• Strong communication and people skills, business savvy and technology efficient.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays (when applicable).
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Trained on the Hydrafacial device a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality services and elevated experiences to members and guests.
• Perform facials, waxing, and body services that meet the established guidelines and guest expectations.
• Evaluate a customer’s skin condition and offer recommendations for treatments.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies.
• Prepare, clean and restock treatment rooms as required.
• Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate responses to all requests by members and guests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
