Job summary

Woodhouse Spa – Highland Park is seeking a licensed esthetician to join a founder team launching in the North Shore. You will perform professional skin care treatments, analyze guests’ skin, and build personalized plans to achieve goals.

You’ll educate guests on homecare, deliver holistic and clinical modalities, and ensure a high-touch concierge experience from consultation to rebooking. Ideal candidates have Illinois esthetician license, 3+ years in luxury spas, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois esthetician license (IDFPR) — required, and maintained in good standing per state rules and regulations
• Three years as a Licensed Esthetician preferred; luxury spa experience a strong plus
• Knowledge of a range of esthetic treatments and techniques
• A local clientele you can bring with you is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to educate, offer solutions, and recommend homecare with confidence.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment while keeping a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Driven to pursue continuing education and stay the best in your profession
• Regular, consistent attendance, and flexibility to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional skin care treatments and facials to Woodhouse protocols
• Analyze each guest’s skin, listen to their goals, and build a treatment plan that actually gets them there
• Educate guests on their skin and recommend the homecare regimen that extends your results between visits
• Deliver a range of treatments — holistic and clinical modalities both welcome here
• Ensure guests have a consistent, phenomenal, high‑touch concierge experience from consultation to rebooking
• Use salon software to manage appointments, guest notes, and treatment history
