Primary Responsibilities:
- Constant interaction with guests by phone or in person making Spa/Salon reservations and explaining services
- Accurately enter reservations for treatment room and therapist
- Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain pleasant and welcoming demeanor in person and over the phone
- Ensure The Greenbrier experience
- Adhere to policies of the facility
- Report any incidents or accidents to the Spa Director
- Submit all paperwork and financial reporting, when applicable
- Develop and maintain accurate department maintenance procedures and checklists through routine preventative maintenance and repair
- Maintain a monthly inventory of supplies and/or products, when applicable
- Become knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with members and/or guests
- Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) schedule, if applicable
- Help ensure the facility is only accessed by actual members and/or guests, and that it is safe and secure at all times
- Greet each and every guest with a smile and direct eye contact
- Go the extra mile for members and guests by offering to make reservations, find directions, look up phone numbers, etc.
- Use time efficiently throughout shift by checking equipment, locker rooms, gift shop stocks, inventory, etc., and ensuring proper coverage when it’s necessary to leave the area
- Keep area clear of clutter and personal effects
- Inform co‑worker(s) of pertinent information at the end of the shift and maintain the staff communication book
- Inform the facility manager of any member, guest, or facility issues
- Enroll members and guests in programs and make reservations for spa services and personal training, when applicable
- Receive payments for goods and services and properly account for the money. Reconcile daily sales, deposits, and receipts, when applicable
- Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain the facility and prepare for special events
Normal Working Hours:
- 32-40 hours per week in season
- Staffing requires availability on holidays and for a 7‑day a week operation

Past Work Experience Requirements:
- Retail and phone preferred
- Experience with a cash drawer preferred
- Customer Service experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- College Degree preferred
Communication Skills Requirements:
- Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic
- Ability to express information clearly
- Excellent verbal and written skills
Technical Requirements:
- Computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Working knowledge of all services and products
