Responsibilities

• Respond to varying special requests, including emergency clean ups and providing additional amenities or furnishings.
• Communicate with guests regarding directions and descriptions of hotel amenities and facilities.
• Must be available to work Sundays through Saturdays and all holidays.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform Daily Maid Service at the standard detailed in the Standard Operating Procedures including the functions of:
  • Change all linen daily
  • Clean bathroom
  • Dust all wooden surfaces
  • Clean and/or vacuum all floors
  • Replenish amenities
  • Return guest room amenities, furniture & furnishings to designated locations
  • Tidy the guests’ personal belongings (i.e. clothing, shoes, toiletries, etc.)

Secondary Responsibilities

• Respond to varying special requests, including:
  • Emergency clean up
  • Providing additional requested amenities or furnishings
  • Communicate with guests regarding directions, providing descriptions of hotel amenities and facilities

Normal Working Hours

• Must be available Sunday – Saturday & all holidays

In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria

Past Work Experience Requirements

• Housekeeping experience in hotel or professional work environment preferred.
• One year consecutive work history showing dependability & commitment to the job, OR
• If a candidate has no work history within the past year, dependability and commitment can be demonstrated through non-paid activity or involvement such as school, extracurricular activities or volunteering.
• Satisfactory performance and attendance with 5 or less absences per year.

Educational Requirements
