Astraea, A Wellness Spa, located in the Longfellow hotel in Portland, Maine, invites dynamic Spa Attendants to join our boutique team. This role supports spa cleanliness, guest services, and treatment area upkeep, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time schedules.

Evening, closing shifts, and weekend availability are required. Ideal candidates show reliability, strong communication, and a wellness-minded attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in a spa setting is preferred but not required.
• Reliable, friendly and motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and closing shifts as needed.
• Willingness to learn spa software and maintain cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide personal service.
• Keep spa areas, treatment rooms, and public spaces clean and organized.
• Provide towels, robes, slippers, and amenities for guests.
• Explain services and recommend treatments to guests.
• Answer phones, take or modify reservations, confirm bookings.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and restocking.
• Prepare sauna rooms, clean spaces, and maintain overall cleanliness.
• Coordinate with wellness coordinator on scheduling conflicts.
• Support team with weekly deep cleaning tasks.
