Spa Attendant Supervisor

POSITION PURPOSE:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Spa, the Spa Attendant Supervisor is responsible for working alongside and supervising a team of Spa Attendants to ensure all day-to-day standards and procedures are adhered to, delivering the highest level of guest satisfaction in the spa. The Spa Attendant Supervisor maintains Inns of Aurora service and hospitality standards throughout all interactions. The Supervisor may also facilitate and participate in team training and evaluations. Additionally, they may be involved in administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, inventory management, training, and progressive discipline. The Spa Attendant Supervisor must always demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail to serve as an example and leader for the team.

The Spa Attendant Supervisor will also:

  • Ensure Spa areas are immaculate, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Understand and direct guests in first aid/emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with all resort departments.
  • Support team members by providing positive reinforcement and respectful coaching.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor in difficult situations, setting a positive example for staff and guests.
  • Develop positive relationships with team members by understanding their motivations, needs, and concerns.

Requirements

  • First Aid/AED/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
  • Proficiency in computer and technology use, including Excel, Word, Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Knowledge of computer systems/POS; familiarity with Book4Time software is a plus.
  • Reliability and punctuality; consistent attendance is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure with patience and a calm demeanor.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
  • Approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand for extended periods, reach, lift (up to 40 pounds), bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven leadership qualities and ability to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise good judgment.
  • This job may include other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
