Job Description Summary

Welcome guests and provide robes, slippers, towels, and locker keys. Escort guests to their lockers and massage clients to the therapist, introducing them as needed. Maintain spa facility cleanliness while assisting guests with amenities, wellness experiences, and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Provide excellent guest services and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Greet all guests warmly upon entry to the Spa.
• Be familiar with various treatments, including indications, contraindications, and services, based on therapist expertise and training.
• Assist in identifying the guest’s needs and facilitate appropriate changes or treatments.
• Provide robes, slippers, and locker keys to guests.
• Assist guests by offering water or iced tea.
• Keep the locker area tidy, removing used towels and slippers, and give tours to guests.
• Fill mineral tubs for guests, and clean and refill tubs after each use, replacing towels and mats, then escort guests to the tranquility room.
• Restock linens and supplies throughout the spa regularly.
• Deliver exceptional guest service to both guests and internal clients.
• Maintain Forbes 5-star and AAA service standards.
• Follow all Tribal Ordinances, Regulations, and internal controls, including Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Riverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.
• Ability to complete and provide proof of Responsible Alcoholic Beverage Certificate within 60 days of employment.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the spa, including walking up to 3 miles and climbing stairs. Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment. The role involves standing for extended periods, grasping, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs., and using office equipment. Exposure to humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, heat, and electrical hazards may occur.
