The Club at Ibis in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Spa Maintenance Associate to keep The Spa, salon and treatment rooms clean and orderly.

You will handle daily cleaning tasks, restocking linens and toiletries, and coordinating with the Spa Manager to ensure a welcoming, sanitary environment for guests.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Language: Ability to read and write English.
  • Math: Basic math for supplies.
  • Reasoning: Common sense for following instructions.
  • Certificates, Licenses: Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains cleanliness of spa, salons, locker rooms, and relaxation areas.
  • Cleans and restocks supplies between services and at day end.
  • Disinfects areas and coordinates with laundry staff as needed.
  • Ensures breakroom cleanliness and waste disposal.
  • Assists with beverage station and inventory with Purchasing.

Job Location: The Club at Ibis - West Palm Beach, FL 33412

Part-time position. Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only

Summary

Responsible for daily maintenance and cleanliness of The Spa including salon and treatment rooms, locker rooms, office spaces, reception desk, and relaxation areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Arrives promptly at scheduled time.
  • General duties include cleaning bathrooms and locker rooms, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, emptying and cleaning all water dispensers.
  • Stocks lockers and treatment rooms with linens and toiletries between services and at the end of day.
  • After each service, disinfects sandals, collects and carts linens and assists laundry staff when needed. Notifies the Spa Manager when linen and cleaning supply inventory is low.
  • Dusts all furniture surfaces and product shelves, sweeps, and tidies all areas throughout work schedule. Spot cleans carpets as needed.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the breakroom to include washing cups/dishes.
  • Empties garbage from all areas throughout the day and at the end of day.
  • Restocks beverage station, orders fruit and distilled water from Purchasing Manager.
  • Wipes down showers after each use. Thoroughly cleans showers at end of day.
  • Deep cleans behind furniture, baseboards, and fixtures on a monthly basis or as needed.

Qualifications
  • Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
