Summary

Provides service to members and guests with a smile and safe amenities to ensure member satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greets members and guests to make them feel welcome.
  • Records hourly traffic flow count.
  • Maintains sport court.
  • Issues locker keys and robes, and contacts members if necessary regarding missing locker keys.
  • Maintains and monitors spa and locker room areas for cleanliness, orderliness and comfort of members and guests.
  • Cleans and organizes counter, mirrors and showers and conducts monthly inventory.
  • Changes out plastic covers on toilet seats and batteries when necessary.
  • Processes member and guest check in and out procedures, including accounting for items that were checked out by members and guests.
  • Follows proper procedures for closing and opening for the locker rooms.
  • Monitors pool deck and locker rooms to ensure clean linens are available and collect used towels.
  • Assists members and lifeguards with chairs and/or umbrellas.
  • Responsible for assisting in cleaning and straightening pool deck and closing.
  • Ensures that the amenities on the counter, in the showers and in the restrooms are filled and refills products as necessary.
  • Reports to shift on time, in proper uniform and wears name tag.
  • Completes incident and/or lost and found forms if necessary.
  • Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of The Polo Club.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Pool Complex Coordinator.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Requires a working knowledge of Spa facilities, Spa treatments and Family Resort Complex.
  • Requires excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous club experience is preferred.
  • Ability to verbally communicate well in English and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

Education and/or Experience

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Club software.
