We're Hiring! Spa Sales Associate | Hand & Stone Commerce Township

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Commerce Township is looking for a friendly, energetic, and sales-driven individual to join our front desk team.

We're a busy, established spa with over 1100 members, and we're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves the excitement of hitting sales goals. If you're the type of person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone, loves a good challenge, and wants to be part of a fun, supportive team, this could be the perfect fit!

What We're Looking For

We're currently hiring for a part-time position, approximately 20–30 hours per week. Scheduling flexibility is especially important for this role! We're ideally looking for someone who:

• Has Sunday and morning availability. These are our biggest scheduling needs right now!
• Is flexible with their schedule. We'd love someone who's willing to swap shifts, switch weekend days, or adjust their schedule occasionally to help the team when needed.
• Has at least 1 year of sales or membership-based experience. This is highly preferred, especially in a spa, fitness, retail, or similar environment, but we're absolutely open to training the right person!
• Is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Has a positive attitude and genuinely enjoys interacting with people.
• Is motivated by goals, commissions, and opportunities to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same at our spa! You'll be helping keep things running smoothly while making sure every guest has an amazing experience. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Selling memberships! Help guests discover the benefits of regular massage and skincare while working toward individual and team sales goals.
• Building relationships. Get to know our members, welcome new guests, and make everyone feel comfortable and appreciated.
• Booking appointments. Help guests find the perfect services and providers while keeping our schedules full.
• Promoting services and products. Share current promotions, gift card specials, and service recommendations.
• Keeping things organized. Answer phones, check guests in and out, process payments, and assist with daily front desk tasks.
• Supporting your team. Help maintain a clean, welcoming spa and work together to make each day successful.

Don't know much about massage or skincare? No problem! We'll teach you everything you need to know!

A Few Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Sunday and morning availability is strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to occasionally adjust shifts or swap weekend days based on scheduling needs.
• Previous sales or membership experience is highly preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• A reliable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

We're not necessarily looking for someone who knows everything about the spa industry. We're looking for someone with a great personality, a strong work ethic, a passion for sales, and the flexibility to be there when our team needs them.
