BASF Agricultural Solutions in Research Triangle Park, NC, is seeking a Soybean Seed Marketing Manager to lead business plans and market development for soy seed brands. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies while balancing short-term results with long-term market share growth.

This role requires deep agri-business experience, a bachelor’s degree in business or agronomy (MBA a plus), willingness to travel up to 25%, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agronomy, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 10 years of marketing, sales, and/or technical support experience.
• Row crop seed business experience in marketing and/or sales preferred.
• Ability to analyze global factors and translate into concise plans to hit financial goals.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily domestically.
• Must be willing to live in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing soybean seed business plans for brands and market segments.
• Creating market introduction plans for new soybean germplasm and launching positioning.
• Collaborating on launch plans for new traits and market development initiatives.
• Forecasting, pricing, and profit management for assigned brands.
• Monitoring market trends, competitors, and marketplace intelligence.
• Coordinating with internal/external groups to implement product plans.
• Motivating sales and channel partners with go-to-market strategies.
• Participating in cross-functional project teams for commercialization.
