Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a Financial Compliance Advisor within the SOX Strategy team to lead SOX activities around enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives. You will assess changes on the SOX control environment and collaborate with Finance, IT, Compliance, and business teams to deliver practical governance solutions.

You will manage complex projects, coordinate stakeholders, develop executive presentations, and drive initiatives to successful completion, including SOX 404

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
• Five years' experience in public accounting or accounting at a public company.
• Strong internal controls, financial reporting and general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX strategy activities for enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives.
• Assess impact of changes on the SOX control framework and governance strategies.
• Manage complex projects with timelines, milestones, risks and action plans.
• Develop executive-ready presentations for leadership and steering committees.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Finance, IT, Compliance and business teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SOX Strategy processes and governance tools.
