Job summary

FedEx Corporation in Plano, TX is seeking a Financial Compliance Advisor to lead SOX strategy for enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives. You will assess changes on the SOX control environment and work cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Compliance, and business teams to deliver practical governance solutions.

In this role you will manage complex projects, develop executive-level presentations, coordinate timelines, and drive deliverables to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
• At least five years’ experience in public accounting or accounting at a public company.
• Strong internal controls, financial reporting and general accounting.
• Strong organizational, project leadership and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX strategy for enterprise transformation and initiatives.
• Assess impact of changes on the SOX control framework and governance.
• Manage complex projects with timelines, milestones, risks, and actions.
• Develop executive-ready presentations for leadership and steering committees.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Finance, IT, Compliance, and business teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOX strategy processes and tools.
