Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking an Internal Controls Manager to own the SOX readiness program andWorkiva GRC platform, ensuring control documentation, testing, and audits are fully compliant as the company moves toward IPO. You will collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, and Operations to design control frameworks, develop RCMs, and manage testing workflows.

The role requires 7+ years in internal controls, SOX, or external audit, CPA, and experience with PCAOB standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required.
• CIA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in internal controls, SOX compliance, or external audit.

Responsibilities

• Own Workiva GRC platform configuration and administration.
• Develop Risk and Control Matrices and control narratives.
• Lead SOX testing cycle and remediation efforts.
• Coordinate with external auditors and IPO readiness team.
• Prepare 404(a) management assessment and CEO/CFO certifications.
