Job summary

GPC is seeking an experienced SOX Analyst to serve as a second line of defense ensuring internal controls are designed and implemented effectively. The role supports project management for finance initiatives and system changes, requiring strong communication, cross-team coordination, and change management skills.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and at least five years in audit or SOX/compliance, with proficiency in Excel and experience with control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in audit, internal controls, SOX compliance or related area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of internal control processes (RCM, control narratives).
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective internal controls.
• Develop remediation plans for control deficiencies.
• Liaise with management and auditors to align on SOX objectives.
• Assist in implementing controls during automation and system changes.
• Address business questions and drive change with stakeholders.
