Job summary

PPG is seeking a leader for the Global SOX Program & Controls Assurance to govern the ICFR program and oversee ITGCs and business process controls. You will align with Controllership, IT, and external auditors to ensure risk-based scoping, testing methodologies, and timely certification across regions.

This role reports to the Global Audit Director and manages regional SOX managers. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in SOX/compliance, CPA/CIA/CISA preferred, and a track record guiding large

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SOX, internal or external audit, risk management, or controls.
• 3+ years leading large SOX or controls assurance programs; public accounting background preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP environments and automation testing advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, ICFR, COSO, and ITGCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global SOX testing program and ICFR certification.
• Set objectives, timelines, and reporting with regional SOX managers.
• Ensure testing quality, coverage, and evidence for external audit reliance.
• Partner with Controllership, IT, and external auditors on scoping and testing.
• Deliver executive status reports and manage program communications.
• Drive continuous improvement, analytics, and automation in controls testing.
• Coach and develop SOX managers and regional teams.
