Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is conducting a search for a detail-oriented SOX IT Analyst with a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, or Computer Science and 2–3+ years of IT audit, IT compliance, and SOX experience. Knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP is highly preferred.

The role coordinates ITGCs, documents control walkthroughs, supports auditors, and contributes to risk assessment and control improvements within a publicly traded company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Information Systems, IT, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in IT audit, IT compliance, SOX compliance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of SOX 302 and 404 requirements and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
• Strong written and verbal communication, cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance in a publicly traded company.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Experience with GRC tools (AuditBoard, Archer, ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of COBIT, NIST, or ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support IT General Controls (ITGCs) across various areas (logical access, change management, operations, backup/recovery).
• Document control walkthroughs, testing procedures, and findings per SOX requirements.
• Identify and track control deficiencies; work with owners on remediation.
• Collaborate with external auditors during SOX audit cycles by providing evidence and responses.
• Support risk assessment and annual scoping activities.
• Assist in continuous improvement of the IT control framework.
