Job summary

VC5 Consulting is seeking an IT SOX Analyst to support the SOX compliance program by executing IT General Controls (ITGCs) and assisting in control documentation and testing. The role requires collaboration with Internal Audit, External Audit, IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders to uphold effective controls.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a regulated IT setting, strong SOX knowledge, and experience in control testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in public accounting, application security, access management, or regulated IT.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance programs and IT controls.
• Working knowledge of SOX requirements, IT controls, and risk management principles.
• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, or HITRUST frameworks.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Location: Houston, TX 77056.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor IT General Controls (ITGCs) to ensure SOX compliance.
• Support IT-related business process controls by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Assist in documenting and testing controls to ensure effectiveness.
• Partner with Internal Audit and External Audit teams to facilitate compliance initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous control improvement to enhance compliance.
