This hybrid position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in accounting/finance, with strong MS Office and COSO/SOX knowledge. You will participate in control deficiency tracking and remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years accounting/finance experience, preferably with public company or public accounting.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.
• Knowledge of COSO 2013 internal-control framework and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate compliance with standards for design and operating-effectiveness testing of control activities.
• Evolve SOX compliance program through improvement and standardization of internal controls.
• Assess process and entity-level risks, including fraud susceptibility.
• Ensure proper ownership assignments through established models.
• Draft internal control policies and procedures.
• Communicate with stakeholders in process-owner meetings and share regulatory changes.
