Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in the Raleigh area is seeking a SOX compliance professional to join the Finance organization. You will support operational effectiveness testing of Cisco's SOX controls and help mentor in program ownership across multiple initiatives.

This hybrid role requires two days in Cisco’s RTP office, with remote options on exception; you will collaborate with cross-functional partners and grow your internal controls expertise within Cisco’s finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in the Finance and Accounting area with a strong academic record.
• 2-3 years SOX experience
• Ability to work with Cross-functional teams and manage multiple deliverables
• Strong accounting and analytical skills with shown ability to apply what you learned

Responsibilities

• Support the operational effectiveness testing of Cisco's SOX controls.
• Present functional knowledge of the SOX processes for walk-throughs, corporate-wide projects, and other initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners/Control Owners in different Finance Organizations.
• Mentor and lead accountability for program ownership for various Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.
