Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis seeks a Business Analyst for the AS5/COSO/SOX program to assess ICFR design and perform key control testing. The role partners with bank management across divisions and requires an on-site presence.

There are two levels (BA II and BA III) with salary ranges posted; the position offers comprehensive benefits, stable federal employment, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of analytical and/or project management experience to include assessing internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of analytical and/or project management experience to include assessing internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects and perform intermediate analytical tasks in support of Department, Bank, FRS and/or federal agency initiatives.
• Participate in project teams and work groups, complete special assignments, studies, and analyses.
• Analyze business functions and process improvements, test and train implementations, coordinate risk plans and communications.
• Provide analytic support to Department liaisons resolving moderately complex issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist in preparing communications, including proposals, reports, and presentations for management; develop procedures and deliver training.
• Monitor and verify compliance with applicable policies and standards.
• Provide training to less experienced staff.
