Waymo LLC is seeking a Southwest Policy Manager to lead state-level policy engagement across Texas and Arizona, with emphasis on regulatory strategy and external relations to enable Waymo’s public-facing operations.

The role requires 5–7 years in public policy, a strong regional network, and the ability to travel up to 40% while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants. Hybrid schedule; reports to Regional Head of the West.

Formación

• Residence in Southwest/Texas/Austin with travel to capitols
• 5–7 years of public policy experience
• Strong policy network across Southwest
• Persuasive policy advocate with diplomacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Legislative and regulatory analytics experience

Responsabilidades

• Engage with Southwest policymakers and stakeholders to shape policy
• Track political activity and implement policy strategy
• Build relationships with elected officials and regulators
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Waymo
• Coordinate with teams to align plans and report developments
• Manage state consultant relationships and represent Waymo at chambers
