PARS Therapy in Southwest Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a fulltime or PRN role. You will support patients through recovery, restore mobility and independence, and enhance overall well-being in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinical PTA experience and strong patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in the home under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions for mobility and function.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Support non-surgical approaches to reduce meds and improve outcomes.
• Develop individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to patient conditions.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Document services and maintain patient records.
